This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ManageVendors Inc. collects through ArgosBrain (the product) and argosbrain.com (the website), how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Effective date: April 21, 2026. Last updated: April 21, 2026.
ArgosBrain is a product of ManageVendors Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company"). For purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA ("CCPA/CPRA"), ManageVendors Inc. is the data controller (GDPR) and the business (CCPA/CPRA) of the personal information described in this Policy.
Registered office: 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Apt. 33, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States.
General contact: support@argosbrain.com.
Privacy contact: privacy@argosbrain.com.
Support phone: +1 (310) 943-3476.
We do not currently have an EU or UK representative appointed under Article 27 GDPR because we do not meet the thresholds that require one. If you are an EU/UK data subject and would prefer a postal contact in the EEA, email us and we will coordinate.
This Policy covers personal information we process when you (a) use the ArgosBrain software ("the Software"), (b) visit argosbrain.com or any subdomain (together, "the Website"), (c) submit the contact form, (d) email us, (e) interact with our public repositories, or (f) engage with us in a commercial or support capacity.
It does not cover third-party sites we link to, third-party MCP clients that integrate with the Software (Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, etc. — each has its own privacy policy), or third-party benchmark adapters published against our open-source benchmark (LongMemCode).
The ArgosBrain engine (the Rust binary, the MCP server, the CLI) runs in-process on your computer. Ingestion, graph storage, and retrieval all happen on your local filesystem. The Software does not open outbound network connections on the query / retrieval path, does not transmit your source code, does not transmit your symbol graph, and does not phone home with usage telemetry, crash reports, or analytics.
When you install via curl -fsSL https://argosbrain.com/install.sh | sh, Cloudflare (our CDN) and your ISP will observe the download — this produces standard CDN access logs (IP, timestamp, user agent, URL) retained for up to 24 hours for abuse / operations purposes and then discarded. These logs are not linked to any user identity.
If and when we ship optional cloud sync or team features, they will be off by default, explicitly labelled, and governed by additional disclosures in this Policy. We will never silently enable network features on a local install.
argosbrain.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, Amplitude, Plausible, Fathom, or any similar analytics/attribution pixel. We do not run session replay (e.g. FullStory, Hotjar). We do not run advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok, etc.). We do not run A/B testing tools.
Cookies: our application code does not set any cookies. Cloudflare may set operational cookies such as __cf_bm (bot management) and cf_clearance (challenge verification). These are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Because the site sets no tracking cookies and uses no non-essential cookies, EU / UK ePrivacy consent banners are not required and we do not display one.
Fonts: we load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com for CSS, fonts.gstatic.com for WOFF files). Google may log the request IP for font delivery; see Google Fonts & Privacy. Blocking Google Fonts at the browser level leaves the site fully functional with fallback fonts.
Server logs: Cloudflare and our Pages Function record standard request logs (IP, timestamp, method, path, status, user agent) for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. Retention is 24 hours for standard logs and up to 30 days for security-incident logs; we do not aggregate these into profiles.
When you submit the form at /contact (or email us directly), we process the following personal information:
Purposes of processing: (a) to reply to your inquiry; (b) to identify and mitigate abuse of the endpoint; (c) to satisfy legal obligations (e.g. responding to a privacy rights request you submit).
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request; Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests, specifically (i) replying to unsolicited inquiries, (ii) spam prevention, (iii) operating and securing our infrastructure. Where you tick the consent checkbox adjacent to the form, Art. 6(1)(a) consent also applies and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
Retention: contact-form emails are retained in our inbox for up to 24 months for support continuity, then deleted. You may request deletion sooner by emailing privacy@argosbrain.com.
Storage: we do not store submissions in a database. The Pages Function forwards to Resend and returns; the only persistent copy is the delivered email.
If you engage us as a customer, design partner, or enterprise prospect, we may additionally process: your business role / title; billing contact information (if you become a paying customer — handled by our payment processor, not stored on our servers); shipping address (if we send physical items, which is rare); notes from calls or written exchanges. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests in running the business. Retention: for the duration of the business relationship plus up to 7 years for tax / accounting recordkeeping, where applicable.
We do not engage in automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not perform profiling for marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party service providers ("sub-processors" under GDPR, "service providers" under CCPA). They process personal information only on our instructions and under contract. We review the list periodically:
We will update this list when we add or remove a sub-processor that processes personal information. Where feasible, material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance on this page.
We are established in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, personal information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in any country where our sub-processors operate. For these transfers we rely on (a) the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK IDTA / UK Addendum where applicable, executed with each sub-processor, and (b) additional safeguards such as encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and data minimisation. Copies of SCCs and relevant sub-processor DPAs are available on request to privacy@argosbrain.com.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR / nFADP): you have the right to (i) access your personal information, (ii) request correction of inaccurate data, (iii) request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), (iv) request restriction of processing, (v) data portability, (vi) object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing, and (vii) lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to (i) know what personal information we collect and how we use it, (ii) request deletion, (iii) request correction, (iv) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, (v) limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ae), and (vi) non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
If you are a resident of another US state with a comprehensive privacy law (including but not limited to Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware): you have substantially similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. The mechanism to exercise them is the same.
How to exercise any of these rights: email privacy@argosbrain.com from the email address you used with us, or write to ManageVendors Inc., Attn: Privacy, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Apt. 33, Newark, DE 19713, USA. We will verify your identity (typically via the email on file) and respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA/CPRA), extendable once where permitted by law. There is no fee for most requests. You may designate an authorized agent; we will request proof of authorization.
We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: TLS 1.2+ in transit, encryption at rest on sub-processor infrastructure, principle of least privilege for employee access, unique credentials per service, hardware-backed MFA on admin accounts, secrets stored in Cloudflare Pages environment variables (not in source code), Content Security Policy and HSTS on the Website, and a public security-disclosure channel at security@argosbrain.com. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; where the law requires, we will notify affected individuals and regulators of qualifying personal-data breaches within 72 hours of becoming aware.
ArgosBrain is a B2B developer tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@argosbrain.com and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, sub-processors, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, provide a prominent notice on the homepage for at least 14 days prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Website or Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
Email privacy@argosbrain.com, call +1 (310) 943-3476, or write to ManageVendors Inc., Attn: Privacy, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Apt. 33, Newark, DE 19713, USA. EEA / UK data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
This Privacy Policy is provided for general informational and compliance purposes and does not constitute legal advice. If you need advice on how the Policy applies to your specific situation, consult qualified counsel in your jurisdiction.
